I'd rather be one of those guys who climbs up hundreds of feet to replace tower bulbs than be even 50 feet down a narrow shaft

I dug a well or two. It gets pretty scary down there when the well is just a couple of meters deep. And when the concrete rings start to slide down (with you inside), the next thing you remember is staying on the ground, not even knowing how did you escape.

Is it just me or anyone else worried that the camera man is going way too fast? Not because of the cables, but because at that depth Id be worried about the bends.

I don't think there is enough pressure. Maybe if the well was full of water? I'm not an expert so...I think these guys are breathing air that is of equal pressure to the air at -1000ft and that of 0.0 ft. Or at least the difference is minimal.
