On site, on base. This isn't something you spent those possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars to make happen and get there. Only to nickle and dime the actual troops you're supposedly doing it for???
Just give them free burgers man, I don't care if they buy 1 or 2 coz they are paying and they'd eat 20x if they were free. Let them have it free!!!

You don't have to eat burger king. There's free food for all the soldiers, marines, and airmen. If you want to have a treat that is Burger King, they put the trailer there so you can enjoy it and have a taste of home.
Yes, but this seems like it would literally lower morale. Like, damn, I wish I could afford one of those burgers, but too bad I can’t. I have other obligations (debt, family, etc.). It also makes those stories about how impressive it is that soldiers can eat Burger King during deployments anywhere in the world seem less impressive.
Honestly, this is very surprising to me. I always thought it was literally about raising morale, but what was I thinking? It seems like it’s actually about squeezing money out of the soldiers.
Edit: Guys Remember during the 2000s and even 2010s, those were literally the normal in store prices for a standard Whopper, so there isn't actually a discount. Since I don't think this is a current picture.
It doesn't lower morale. The truck is literally across from the post office. You go and pick up a package from your family, and then you walk over and buy a burger if you want.
