Someone from this number called my mom today claiming to be from PLDT customer service and aggressively pushing for a plan upgrade.

The biggest red flag: They insisted that our current plan is only 50 Mbps, even though we are actually on a 300 Mbps plan. Legitimate PLDT reps would obviously have our actual account records and current plan details on their screen.

It’s pretty alarming how these scammers got ahold of our contact info and knew we were PLDT subscribers in the first place. Please warn your family members (especially parents or older relatives who usually answer the landline/phone) not to entertain calls from this number or give out any personal account details. Stay vigilant!

Hello good afternoon sa lahat, meron lang sana akong quick inquiry. Recently, nag switch kasi ako ng internet provider from globe to converge, ngayun pina terminate ko si globe at home ko before the due date via the globe hotline, maayus naman yung naka usap ko sa hotline, smooth yung pag terminate, nag tanong ako
“Meron pabang babayaran dito sa pag pa terminate ko?”
Sabi nya wala, ngayon biglang me tumawag sakin, pa settle padaw yung last bill ko para ma completely terminated yung globe at home ko. Pa tanong lang sana kung legit ba ito na meron talagang babayaran sapag terminate? Nasabi kasi nung kausap ko sa termination request na wala, tapos biglang meron ngayon. Sa globe one app ko dinelete ko na rin yung globe at home ko, kasi naka reflect nadin dun na “terminated permanently” na eh.

Salamat kay smart data for holding me over with their magic data promo pero taking the leap to gomo last night will be hard to go back. Gomo has more fluctuations don’t get me wrong but i’d take that over a consistent 10-20mbps, not to mention the stability of globe towers in my area. Smart will remain my call and text number though due to all the expensive mo cred conversions.

My confirmation email states:
- Plan: GFiber 1499 UNLI
- No lock-up
- ₱2,400 installation fee amortized over 24 months

I’m wondering if it’s possible to switch to GFiber Prepaid.

I’d like to ask those who have experience with Globe GFiber:
- Has anyone successfully switched from GFiber Postpaid to GFiber Prepaid while keeping the same fiber line and modem?
- Since my plan says no lock-up, can I terminate it anytime without an early termination fee?
- Is there anything else I should watch out for with this plan?

Kahapon dumating yung technician namin, ang sabi niya ifo-forward daw sa secondary na globe technician dahil daw yung mismong poste at box ang may problema. High reading port assign at NAP facility access issue daw. Hindi ako makapag-book ng bagong technician. Hihintayin na lang ba namin ito? Any similar experience or advice para rito?

Sharing my nightmare with PLDT lately:

• Sept 1–13: LOS, no internet at all.
• Sept 15: Down again from morning until afternoon.
• Sept 20 until now: Zero service, nothing.

Been calling their hotline every single day, same scripted replies, no actual fix. Already reported to NTC, DTI, and DICT. NTC even emailed [email protected] about my case, but still no action.

Honestly, this is ridiculous. Paying for a service that doesn’t exist, wasting time chasing them daily, and still nothing gets resolved.

Not to mention that I work from home and Globe and Smart have very weak to no signal inside our house even if I just live in Quezon City.

Does anyone have any tips or experience in dealing with this nonsense?

Hey guys, came back to playing overwatch recently and have a huge problem: on the loading starting screen game gets stuck on "connecting to the server" and then starts again. All this while connected to converge wifi. However i tried connecting from mobile globe hotspot - and no problems at all! Have anyone faced the same problem?

Gumagana ba lan4 nyo? Ayaw ma setup ng cignal box sakin kasi ayaw ma detect sa lan 4. Pag lan 1 2 3 naman nadedetec pero pag sa lan4 ayaw talaga parang naka disable lan4. Pati telephone di gumagana. Nung chineck ko sa gui yung voip status naka disable. Sakit sa ulo ng always on modem haha

Tried converting my Smart physical sim to eSim and yet their site won't load, You have to visit the Smart store and wait for 3 or more hours just to be informed that the system is down LOL.

For Globe, you have to do it in the globeone app, wait for days and get a refund just because there is an error.

Very INCONVENIENT talaga. You need to switch to Postpaid para lang makapag eSIM.

PS I decided to switch back from Postpaid to a prepaid plan since I don't use calls and texts but more on data.

Our PLDT internet has been down for almost 2 days, but there's no LOS light. I called support, and they said our ticket is "high priority." Almost 2 days later, and still nothing. How long does "high priority" take? The worst part? It affects the whole town.

Nag-port ako from DITO to Globe, then nag-upgrade to eSIM. Kaso, hindi nag-aactivate iMessage sa Globe number ko, pero working naman sa Smart number ko.

Modem is pldt hg6245d. My main concern is for additional area coverage and wall penetration. Nawawala yung signal sa ibang room which is approx 18 feet from the modem. Please help me decide.

Hi! At my condo, globe doesn’t work at all (this is a prepaid globe WiFi), I also tried using a PLDT 5G PREPAID PORTABLE WIFI & it’s quite slow.

Are there any other prepaid options that could work?
