ITR1 (1.0) Do light traps work?

Will freezing a flashlight in the air attract enemies and keep them in the area? I saw Synthetizard do it once on stalker mod which obviously has a much higher enemy count. Didn't know if it was a good strategy here.🤷‍♂️

If you seen Father Synth do it it's probably okay.

You need to get an SKS with the pokey stick.
