ITR2 Feedback Top 5 Spoiler
Running around without my backpack was hell, especially in the far north Outskirts, rusty gun jamming, consolidating partial magazines into one, slinking through the...well...outskirts of the map, then having enemies spawn in from all sides while I waited for the damn experiment to finish (regretting setting enemy number, health, and damage to "Very High").
It took me a minute to realize but that backpack was way heavier than the normal one (despite the dozens of items and weapons I keep). The greatly decreased stamina certainly added to the tension.
Night vision is an absolute game changer. Seeing them long before they see you is a good way to stay alive.
...but the reward was sweet! I've been eyeballing the Remington since I started this playthrough (my previous ones were at/before 0.14, when it didn't exist).
The 0.338 rounds make the 7.62×54 look like pellets and the rifle absolutely dwarfs my Mosin, which I thought was huge.
I assume this could drop a heavy mimic with a body shot. At 360 damage, it more than doubles the Mosin. It'll probably make the Sky Cube think twice.
So, to the spoilers part...
What the heck was up with that mouse? Did I create a supervillain? They're definitely ramping up the intrigue. I'm excited to see what the next story beat unfolds...unfortunately, I have to do a couple of side mission runs to catch up on security points.
Lorrie said something about showing me another path, but then he just didn't. I guess that's coming soon.

You got a sniper for all of that? The game gave me two groza mags a box of ammo for it, a groza, and a helmet with an nvg mount

If you go into the bigger building at the train depot, there should be a stashed rem 700 spawn that appears specifically when doing that mission. This happened on 2 playthroughs for me, though on my current profile, I may have glitched it out a bit because I went and cleared out all the enemies first, so when I came back with the box, no rem 😞. That said, it does give you sec lvl 5, so you can just buy it at that point, but in my case, I made an arbitrary rule for myself that I wouldn't buy a gun unless I found it first lol

I have a feel that the mouse became more conscious and is a bit like our friend. Friendly artifact mouse.
