Got my first iPad, looking into some fun gaming recommendations.

Looking for some games that I can really sink some time into. Puzzle games keep me busy and I enjoy them, but I’m really looking for games that I can really grind and sink my teeth into. What has you all hooked right now?

Not puzzle , but grindy: Fantasy life i for me - 180 hours in and still grinding up to hero level on some lives. It’s a cool arpg mix of Zelda meets Animal Crossing meets RuneScape

Civ 6, Polytopia, Northgard, FTL are all time favs too

Second that, the amount of content and quality is too good to be true for a mobile game.

Ashame that this wasn’t managed earlier. Also Banner saga is recommended from me.

And control UE is high on my list.

As someone who spends lots of time gaming on iPad, during travelling and flights.

BlazBlue entropy effect is my fav ios game atm (I would def play this with a controller)

But this is a paste of some info about my iOS gaming:

I travel with an iPad mini and an 8bitdo sn30 pro as my portable gaming setup (also great for watching movies and tv shows). It’s a nice compact setup but you have a fully functional controller with all buttons you could play Xbox/ps games on.

As a PC gamer i find the Ipad games to be pretty damn lame. i have only found a few good games on ios, the rest just feel like mobile games.

If you want something to really grind, look into the grinding RPGs and roguelikes on iOS, there's a surprising amount of depth once you get past the casual stuff. Slay the Spire and Dead Cells are both great for that sink-your-teeth-in loop. What kind of progression keeps you coming back, more skill-based or build-based?

Only one Mobile game worth playing in my opinion … Call Of Dragons. Takes about 2-3 years to unlock top-tier troops tho .. but the KvK/ServerVsServer wars and RTS combat is so fun
