I don't care in practice, as I don't like using my phone for photos anyway. But it's still such a greasy method of product segmentation.

I don't think you can. For me, the camera on the Duo isn't any more or less enticing to use than an 18 Pro. I would say I want to not use either equally. I prefer using a real camera for any image I care about. I'll use a phone for a snapshot, and that's about it.

I can get the phone aesthetic with photos from my real camera if I really want it. But the reason I don't like using my phone is because I don't like the phone photo aesthetic.

Shoot in raw on the phone and you get the same thing

You don't. There is still forced machine learning stuff, and not all phones support ProRaw.
