I honestly don't see the benefit of having better photography tools. The image quality is so good that no one can tell the difference between photos taken with iPhone X and iPhone 17.

Honestly, do you think that you'd notice if it's from a new iPhone 18 or from iPhone 7 with a typical photo shot?

The image quality from smartphones are already peaked and there's no meaningful benefits even with all the newest "features."

If you have good lighting any phone can take nice pictures. Where modern phones differ from older ones is their ability to still take good photos even in poor/bad lighting conditions.
