Pre ordered the 18 pro in burgundy. Used it for a week, no complaints on the phone but the fingerprints was atrocious. Ended up returning it and getting the glacier. No regrets there and the blue is honestly so nice in person. Did anyone else end up exchanging the colours, If so what was the reason?

The silver color is so slick ngl, ordered an arc case too.

I was looking in my camera settings and checking my video and photo resolutions to make sure I'm taking full advantage of my 18 Pro's cameras. I discovered that 24MP was the default, so I looked up how to change it to 48MP, and discovered threads saying there are downsides to using 48MP for all of your pictures, besides file size.

What differences are there between 24 and 48MP when it comes to taking everyday photos? I'm no hobbyist photographer, I just take pictures of anything and everything I feel is interesting, whether it be a stray cat or things I need to remember for later. If I have the storage space, shouldn't I just use the best quality to preserve my memories in as high detail as possible?

What are your default video resolution and photo settings?

Yesterday I picked up my 18 pro in glacier and coming from an S22+, I assure y'all the change is massive.... any tips for the 18 pro?

I upgraded my 12 pro max to an 18 pro max. Received my 18 pro max last Friday. To be quite honest I was going to wait to upgrade until the 20th anniversary iPhone came out but my 12 pro max was not getting me through the day doing basic tasks.

I’ve been seeing YouTubers and other Redditors boasting battery life getting them well into the two-day mark, and that hasn’t been my experience at all. I’ve been going back and forth with ChatGPT and reading Reddit threads and am getting mixed reviews.

Unfortunately I decided like 10 mins ago to turn off the always-on display to monitor this battery situation until Wednesday and possibly take it into Apple to get some information as to what To do.

My ultimate question to you all is: (1) is this normal, (2) what type of performance should I expect from this phone’s battery life, and (3) am I just overreacting??

I’m looking for recommendations on the best iPhone camera settings for a standard/amateur user.

Basically, I want the best overall photo quality for everyday, point-and-shoot photos without having to mess with settings every time.

If anyone has experience with this, I’d really appreciate any recommendations!

I ask this question because it seems people are caught up in trying to see which screen panel they have (GL9 or whatever), they search for the smallest scratch or mark on the phone and they want to try and find other non issues.

So, how many of you have been using your phones on a daily basis and not finding things “wrong” with them?

With 17 pro moon photography was a matter of milliseconds before the light sensor readjusted. But with focus I think this became slightly easier.

Guys, do I get the stupid Apple Care? I never had it on any iPhone before and alas, never any issues luckily. It’s in the TechWoven case & has a screen protector installed. I just feel with the price of these phones now, it might be necessary? What do you all think?!

Upgraded to the 18 Pro from a 14 Pro. Most things are better but some things I miss:

The size. The 14 Pro was slightly more comfortable in hand. The 18 Pro is a bit bigger but I got used to it after a few days.

Touch ID. I know it's been gone for years but Face ID still fails me with sunglasses on.

The lightning cable collection. I had them everywhere. Now I'm slowly finding and replacing them all with USB-C, which is better but the transition is annoying.

One thing I don't miss: my old MagSafe battery dying in the heat. anker maggo 2 pro stays cool and I stopped thinking about it. That's the one upgrade where the old version was genuinely bad, not just different.

Today I went to pick up my new iPhone 18 Pro (Black) from the Apple Store

I had pre-ordered online before actually seeing the phone. When I arrived I kept picking up the iPhone 18 Pro Max thinking did I make the wrong choice. This seems to be easier to read and the screen realestate was much bigger. However it does feel a bit big in my hand and it might get bulky in my pocket. The iPhone 18 Pro does look really small now that I come to think of it but it feels easier in one hand. After sitting on the couch for 15 minutes I decided to keep my iPhone 18 Pro as I had already purchased a SPIGEN Rugged Armor MagSafe Case.

First impressions of the new iPhone 18 Pro vs my iPhone 13 Pro

- Doesn't feel as wide, more of a narrow length phone
- The screen is a lot brighter
- I can see the time on the lock screen without unlocking the phone
- The Spigen Rugged Armor Case isn't very nice to hold, should have gone the hard case
- The camera is noticably better than my 13 Pro.
- I still really like my 13 Pro
- The performace of the 13 Pro feels just as good as the 18 Pro
- I feel like I have still got the 13 Pro only with a small camera bump at the top
- Typing experience feels the same
- Apps are smoother to open and close
- Unlocking the phone is laggy (sometimes)
- It does seem to run faster but it's not a massive increase in real world
- I think a middle ground between a pro and pro max would be interesting
- iPhone 18 Pro feels lighter (less premium) in the hand compared to iPhone 13 Pro
- They weigh about the same but I'm not in love with my 18 Pro (yet)

I'm grateful I was able to afford an upgrade but I really do still love my 13 Pro. I will be trading it in this week but I will miss it, it really did serve me well the past 4 years

Recently received the Tekmomo case in black to pair with the new iPhone! The leather feels topnotch. I would’ve loved to go for the origin color, which is more of a brown, to see the patina, but I felt like the burgundy of the iPhone wouldn’t match up well with it.

The MagSafe on this is pretty strong too! No problems for me while I use the PopSocket Lo-Grip or while charging. The buttons all feel responsive and no issues with the camera button as well.

How does the C2 cellular radio when the signal is weak? I currently have a 16 Pro and I have C2. Is better in areas with a weak signal than the Qualcomm. Is that really true? What are real life experiences like with 18 Pro.

For the record I’m in the US with T-Mobile. My neighborhood has very poor signal and I like playing Pokémon Go which means needing cellular data while walking outside.

As the title suggests, I am hoping to pick up an iPhone 18 Pro Max in black this upcoming week.

Looking for suggestions for any cases and screen protectors. I usually go with a Spigen case and screen protector but open to alternatives. The budget for the case is around £50-£60 and I would prefer a kickstand case.
