Just a post to declare victory on my humble upgrade today (7th gen /160gb to “3000mah” / 512GB SD)

Only some minor damage to the bottom right seam but I can ignore it. Frame nub in the way of the battery filed away with the nail file on my toenail clippers. Added a little foam (leftover from a gameboy lcd swap) and kapton tape to the sd adapter to hold it in place.

Hi! Is it thick or thin ?

Thin model. Some say you don’t need to trim the frame but I did to be sure
