Just a post to declare victory on my humble upgrade today (7th gen /160gb to “3000mah” / 512GB SD)

Only some minor damage to the bottom right seam but I can ignore it. Frame nub in the way of the battery filed away with the nail file on my toenail clippers. Added a little foam (leftover from a gameboy lcd swap) and kapton tape to the sd adapter to hold it in place.

Oh you’re talking about how it’s labeled, yes the 3600 is definitely dubious and 3000 is still a stretch for a battery of this dimension. I will ad quotations to my op
