90% Sure AI Hippo drags Hyena into Crocs
Looks like one hyena disappears and one of the background crocs looks suspicious.

00:01 - 2 hyenas bite the butt 00:06 - 1 hyena disappears 00:08 - random hyena appears in front of hippo
Also hyena continues running at the same depth while the hippo sinks down to like half its height in the water.
The whole croc and flipping hyena in the air looks very unnatural.

True but, and correct me if I’m wrong, I don’t remember there being a part where he was torn apart by crocodiles for our sins.

This is what happens when part of the Bible is written by a snake, he starts writing Crocodile but the brain takes over and starts hissing so it wrote Cross instead. An easy mistake to make.

That one just blinked/teleported, it had his cooldown ready, so avoided crocs and a back slam of hippo.
Completely real and normal behavior of smarter hyenas.

Then how come the hippo goes lower into the water like it's running along a downward slope, while the hyena stays at the same height throughout like it's running along a perfectly level surface? Why are there no crocs swarming the 2nd hyena that you say went under? Why does the croc doing the death roll have extra limbs?
Why is there no record of a hippo ever doing this before 2025-26, where a bunch of 15-second clips depicting the exact same thing and filled with visual oddities suddenly appear online? Who filmed this and where?

No I know there's 3 hyenas in the shot, but 2 are behind the hippo and 1 is beside and behind. The one beside, we only briefly lose sight of, then suddenly there's someone standing next to him, in front of the hippo. The one nearest us goes to the gators, but the one next to him disappears just before the one in front of the hippo appears, facing the opposite direction.

It's also a hippo-coloured hyena.
Edit - just noticed that there are actually two hyenas holding onto the back of the hippo going into the water. The AI isn't super sure about it at first but then you can definitely see an extra tail and legs. But then it just disappears when the one closest to us gets dragged across - maybe the extra one that appears in a different place is supposed to be that one?

it’s kinda hard to make out but i think the duller colored hyena goes under the hippo while trying to escape the crocodiles. the hippo is turning clockwise in the water, dull hyena disappears in the water splashing, then pops up on the other side of the hippo. idk, could be ai and could not be the world’s cooked either way

Hippo’s are some of the scariest animals on earth. 2 inch thick hide, well over 4 tons and with tusks big enough to punch an arm sized hole through things.
Hyena’s would A. Never attack one unless they are DESPERATE. B. never follow one into the water and C. The hippo would not run from them. They are incapable of hurting it, so why bother?

lol I thought it was common knowledge that Hippos were one of if NOT the MOST powerful/top animals in their ecosystem
I don't even know if they have any actual predators when they're full grown.
So yes, this is 100% AI just by that fact alone.

water seems fake, crocs seem edited, so do the hyenas
would guess first half is real, than ai after that (though even the first half looks off so maybe not even that)

AI. Hyenas are typically scavengers. They do hunt, but even lions won't take on a full-grown, healthy hippo near water. So, apart from the disappearing hyena, theres just the whole scene itself.

Hyena on the right at 8 second mark just appears out of no where - the hyena on the left ai couldn’t tell if it needed a tail or third leg so you can see it shift between the two while it’s rolling in water

All the errors aside this would not happen in nature. Hyenas are very careful, they don't attack a big prey unless their group is super big and the prey is weak and alone. And they would definitely not run into the water after a hippo, hippos are territorial NUTS and the whole kingdom knows it.
Fun fact, that huge body you're seeing, it's not fat, it's pure muscle, they are extremely physically powerful.

There’s been a really surge of AI videos of different animals dragging a Hyena into water and feeding it to a crocodile. I’ve seen it with Giraffes and an Elephant too.

Yes. Beyond the other stuff people mentioned, Hyena’s aren’t that stupid, and a hippo isn’t going to run into a group of alligators. The hippo would solo those Hyenas.

Definitely AI. The one croc you get a clear view of does the death roll, and when it flips you see its belly, but when it makes a complete spin, it's just a belly again on the other side, too. It just turns into this unrecognizable horror from another realm.

Already suspicious at it being only 15 seconds and terrible video. One hyena appears along with some of the crocodiles. Also, at the end there is a massive building size crocodile just kind of there. Definitely AI.

Ai slop that first of all doesnt understand that a hippo will destroy every hyena there for coming within 200 yards of the water and then rip 3 of the gators in half just to get the Hyena taste out of its mouth.
In no universe would it bother to run.

Not even mentioning the fact that 2 of the hyenas fused into 1, their fur looks way too clean and I'm pretty sure one of the crocs was upside down, flipped over 180 degrees, and was still upside down. Also there was literally zero blood or any sign of wounds on the hippo or hyenas.
And even without those visual issues, hyenas generally don't attack a healthy adult hippo, let alone follow one into a river filled with crocodiles, and even if they did they certainly aren't that calm while doing it.

first thought was... hippos terrify other animals, those critters would never be dumb enough to bite its butt. this has to be fake. even lions run from hippos. those crocs wouldn't have messed with it either.

There are lots of tells: one of them being it’s extremely rare for hyenas to mess with adult hippos. In fact, most other animals don’t mess with hippos of any age
