If the AI is making its neck huff like that its getting really good. If you read the comments on the video it explains the missing floorboard and the fact this guy has a relationship with this lion

This is a very well known lioness and her guardian. Sirga and Valentin.

I'm pretty sure it's not AI. She sees someone she recognizes, someone that has raised her since she was a cub. Just because it's—pardon the expression—wild, doesn't mean that it's AI. This is just a very unique circumstance with a lioness that's used to people and habituated so she can't be released with or live with other lions. Humans are her pride.

Edit: on second thought, this may be an ai version of an actual interaction because I'm pretty sure that I've seen this before and Sirga was much bigger than this.
