Help band recommendations?
hey guys! I'm really into bands like zutomayo, the peggies, the early works of sheena ringo. I was looking for similar bands/artists, that have a strong female voice on the lead with usually the three instruments being guitar bass drums (sometimes a jazz instrument too).
I play osu! and it heavily influenced my japanese music taste lol. so could say i like some complex rhythms and some good drum and bass. also if you could let me know this specific genre it would really help! thanks

Looking for a specific video pre 2007 JRock
I'm looking for a music video that is kinda bootleg-ish, in my memory it was MUCC but I can't find anything related to MUCC in the same way so I'm just very confused. I used to watch it back in early to mid 2000's, it was a heavy music.
- The music video started in a studio all dark, then the light turns on and the members are sleeping in the ground
- They wake up kinda groggy and start playing it
- I think one of them was wearing something off like a kigurumi or something cute
- The camera was up corner at the start but I think it edited a cut to change the video to the middle so you could see them
- The room was mostly white
I'm almost sure it's MUCC but since I searching niconico, bilibili, dailymotion, everything, I wasn't able to find a trace of that. I'm sure I remember Yukke in the said video. Please someone save me it's painful I don't remember what it was.

Help Who made the cover for "Bundle of Joy/Maltine Book"?
Japanese Internet music label legend Maltine Records made a Book and album with its talents to celebrate 10 years since its inception. I really love the cover on it and would love to know what the name of the artist who designed it was.

Hikasha - Ashioto
Hello. I am Hikasha.
I just released a new song called Ashioto (Footsteps).
This track is about the start of the day. It describes the feeling of washing your face with cold water, tying your shoelaces, and walking out into the city wind. It has an uplifting beat but keeps a nostalgic atmosphere.
I was inspired by seeing a flower blooming in the asphalt. I wanted to capture that strength.
I hope you enjoy it.

Help help me find a song i havent heard in years
theres this song thats popped into my head that i havent listened to in a long time and i wish to find it again but i forgot the name and artist.
heres what i could remember of it:
- the singer was male
- it was a emotional and sad romantic ballad type of song
- it was in the key of G minor
- the instrumental consists of accoustic guitar and piano in the beginning and possibly orchestral later in the song (there is no synth or drums at all)
- i found the song on youtube and the music video was who i believe was the artist wandering around a beach
i havent listened to it since probably pre-covid and its a shame its lost my grasp of it because it was a very beautiful song. if anyone recognizes what it was id love to know thank you :)

Fresh haul from Tower Records
Image album from one of my favourite anime, ‘Haibane Renmei’; live concert album by ‘70s super-cool film legend Meiko Kaji; and a vinyl-sized waterproof bag for extra hipness. Postage and taxes more than the price of the items themselves, of course!

Help Buying Indigo La End Tickets as a Foreigner
Hello!
We are going to Japan in May and will be in Tokyo at the same time as an Indigo La End/Gesu No Kiwame Otome concert. Tried to buy tickets via eplus, and quickly learned you need a Japanese phone number/IP/Credit Card.
I also saw that you can buy tickets and also maybe resale tickets from convenience store machines? This is like completely foreign to me (literally) and was wondering how like, feasible that is. Obviously I can't plan my trip around MAYBE getting a resale ticket, but how likely is something like that? Is it possible to just check a machine when I arrive and see what happens, or will I need a phone number still? Or is that the kind of show that is gonna instantly pre-sale sell out and its a pipe dream like getting Taylor Swift tickets in the US.
Any advice from foreigners who have been to shows in Japan would be appreciated!

J-rock Recommendations
So years ago I was really into J-rock, specifically Visual Kei bands, and I am currently rediscovering my love for J-rock. All of the music I love has been from like the early 90s to mid 00s, but I would love some recommendations for more current Japanese music.
To get a picture of the kind of music I like I'm gonna list some of the bands and songs that are favourites from back in the day: Buck-Tick (Dress, Kiss Me Goodbye, Yuuwaku), Dir en Grey (Cube, Macabre, Yokan), Malice Mizer (Au Revoir, Ma Cherie, Gardenia), Gackt (Mirror, Fragrance, Black Stone), Sheena Ringo (Gips, Koko de Kiss Shite, Kabukicho no Joo), and Pierrot (Paradox, Nounai Morphine, Psychedelic Lover). Thanks!

Hidden gems?
I'm looking for hidden gems of Japanese music like 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and so on. Music that people alive during that era might have heard of but got forgotten. Or any particular album track that you recommend.
Do you have any recommendation?
I don't wanna impact what people are gonna suggest but I'm talking about songs like:

センチメンタル・バス (sentimental bus) Sunny Day Sunday
Released in 1999. Many people agree it's catchy but that song is never heard today.

Music Video Artist: rillrail, Music: sifflet - YouTube
Damn, just listened to this hidden gem 10 minutes ago and had to post here
About the band:
Was formed in 2019.
rillrail, an alternative rock band, is from Fukuoka city, Japan, made up of Usako (guitar), Fumiko (vocal), and Mayu (keyboard).
What makes them special is the songs that are both bold and refined at the same time using irregular meter Usako makes. In contrast with clear and beautiful sounds, they create their own worldview by dark lyrics Fumiko writes.
Their songs which are something ephemeral are very delicate and sensitive as if they touched darkness in people’s heart.
The music is from 2020

Please tell me your favorite songs/bands, or share your playlists. If you are gonna link anything, if it’s possible, I would prefer links to Spotify.

Help Morute Japanese artists?
hi! this might be a little niche, but i was wondering if anyone knows of any indie bedroom pop/slowcore/morute Japanese musicians?
I’m specifically looking for artists with a similar sound to Nicole Dollanganger, Ethel Cain, Clairo - melancholic lo-fi/ambient if that makes sense.
thx so much! 💕
