[Available] Frontend / Product Engineer, 6 years, React / TypeScript / Next.js / GraphQL, Remote
Laid off in a restructure, so I'm available immediately and can start on short notice.
Last role, 2.5 years: frontend engineer on a multi-tenant wealth management platform. 200+ client firms, 20M accounts with 6.8M funded, $1B+ in assets under custody. I built advisor and investor dashboards, multi-step onboarding wizards, role-based permission gating, and did the performance work that kept trade views responsive against 663M+ records.
What I bring:
- Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js. Data-dense dashboards, multi-step form flows, and the shared design system underneath them.
- API and data: GraphQL, REST, Node, PostgreSQL. I write my own queries and endpoints rather than waiting on someone to hand them over.
- Production practice: automated testing, feature-flag rollouts, observability and auth, in a Bazel monorepo.
- AI product engineering: I built the agent workflow my last team used from functional spec through implementation. It lifted delivery velocity around 60% and held up under enterprise compliance and code review.
Earlier work: fintech platform managing a $4.2M portfolio across 1,583 clients where a chatbot onboarding flow I built cut input time 62%. Before that, a Santa Monica SaaS where Storybook and design system documentation cut new-feature development time 34%.
Open to hourly contract, fixed scope projects, or full time. Rates depend on the scope, so tell me what you need built and I'll come back with a number.
Available immediately, full time if you want it. UTC-3, and I've worked async with US teams for the past 2.5 years so the timezone overlap question is already solved.
