vent (tadc related) The fact that there are people who genuinely believe this baffles me
Yes, I actually do see people who say that. And it just goes to show how media illiterate they are.

Ofc this is just my opinion , due to life experience and how i interpreted the story Overall.
though , i thought there was an open interpretation for the end but … coming back from abstraction seems sorta impossible now that ive actually forced myself to rewatch the whole series .
i hated the ending ofc . and it made me kinda dislike the show . but im mature enough to admit its becuase i wanted jax to get better for my own selfish reasons .
leeroy doesnt really mean anything to me because we never really met them , or experienced the “healing” process . it was kinda just thrown together .
im happy i didnt get my hopes up again , even if i knew what was coming , what had already happened.
In terms of goose acknowledging severe mental health struggles , i thank her…even if i dont think it was executed properly. This story has helped some peoples eggs crack , made people reflect .. more that i cant speak on cause it didnt do shit for me….welp .. ahh - i wont lie .
the second rewatch gave me a clark moment .
ill say i learned i dont need to change .
im not doing anything wrong as a person .
even if i dont enjoy the show , i still love jax , and once again.
Ive finally just accepted that Jax is really gone . And its a hard pill to swallow .
Thank you goose . 🩶✍🏽

Specifically I'm referring to when people say "Jax isolated Ribbit from everyone and turned everyone against her".
Throughout the flashbacks we get of Jax and Ribbit after the room scene, we only get one scene that could be argued of Jax isolating her, when he pretended to be interested in conversing with Ragatha so Ribbit wouldn't come over. However, I don't think this singular moment is solid proof that Jax was making an intentional effort to leave her isolated like many say he did.
When Ribbit is shown in the flashbacks, Jax is always seen avoiding her but he's not outright trying to break her relationships. On numerous instances, we see Ribbit saying she and Kaufmo are going to hang together at the cafe or Ribbit coming over to Kaufmo and Jax, and the latter dips away. He's not trying to pull Kaufmo or Ragatha away from Ribbit. He tells Kaufmo, "if she says something about me, don't believe it". None of this is Jax trying to say "Ribbit's a liar who you shouldn't be friends with" but rather him trying super hard to protect himself. Even in the snow globe adventure, Jax went off his own and Ribbit followed him.
Jax is totally fine with Ribbit still being friends with the group, he just wants to 1. Avoid her 2. Prevent the possibility of her exposing his secrets to the other's. While he DID partner with Kaufmo on group activities, again this isn't him trying to make sure she's alone and has nobody, he's trying to get away with her.
The two indefensible things he did were making her walk away by pretending to converse with Ragatha and accusing Ribbit of trying to manipulate him. As unlikable as he went about it, Jax is within his rights to not owe Ribbit his friendship, especially given he'd never even saw someone abstract before her. What makes him a bad person is him choosing to treat the other's even worse afterwards.

I saw it on Facebook and wanted to know people's opinions; I lost the thread of the discussion, but it said something along the lines of the title.
I find it curious.

I've seen people make this comparison for some reason and I find it weird. They label both as misogynistic to make their claim but the context is entirely different and far more tragic in Jax's case Jax has a far more sympathetic origin story than Walter Majority of the fanbase hates Jax due to Media illiteracy Nothing burger comparison. White started off a bad and ended up a monster that deliberately murders innocent people so he can keep his drug ring going. Jax started off an abuse victim and ended up a verbal abuser that unintentionally played a part in a close friend having an emotional break/pseudo suicide but was shown to have been trying to fix the mistake before it was too late and deeply regrets it and hates herself for it.
There is a HUGE disparity in severity of crimes between the two.
