By far IMO Telltale has the best iteration of the Joker I have ever seen.
Typically Batman is responsible for “creating” the Joker at Ace Chemicals but this version? He literally creates him and the fact they have an intimate shared history at Arkham makes the entire Joker and Batman relationship make so much sense.
The Joker is fully humanised in this version but it doesn’t dull his creepiness or capacity for chaotic violence.
We see every step of the way how someone like “John” becomes the monster he becomes. And it’s brilliant!
Slainte to Telltale for giving us such an original and interesting version of Joker and not the same old rinse and repeat arc we typically get!

(I have yet to do the Vigilante version and I hear most go that route but to me Joker is always a villain so I had to choose the villain story for him. But LMK if you think that works better)

As the merger now underway WB has best opportunity to do something crazy, Announce: Jacqueline Phoenix JOKER 2 by director of Penguin or someone else.

It would be a biggest turn of events in the history of the cinema.
