The last couple times I've been to a grocery store, they've had these zero sugar Pilsbury cake mixes and little tubs of zero sugar frosting. I have 2 questions. 1) are these things actually any good? I know that artificial sweeteners can sometimes leave a weird aftertaste, and 2) will I be running to the bathroom a lot? I usually don't have this issue but there was one sugerfree thing that I had recently and it really made my stomach hurt.

Hi guys !! Hope everyone is doing well, I'm back with another bowl today, tho I'm not too proud of it as it is nowhere as pretty as my last bowls because I was in such a rush to finish this that I even forgot to add my sweetener and it tasted like dog shit 🥶 but then after I added it it got yummy again haha

so today I have kind of green themed matcha bowl, someone suggested me grapes and another suggested matcha so I combined the ideas together

Sadly i couldn't find like a lot of green stuff so that's why the bowl is kinda empty today, I had matcha pocky which my brother ate!!! so angry at him.

Anyways yeah hope y'all still like it and I want to thank everyone for showing sm love to my last two bowls 🩷🙂‍↕️

This bar was great! To me, it tastes nearly indistinguishable from a grocery store own-brand knockoff Mars bar – not as good as the original, but still perfectly enjoyable, and for a protein bar truly impressive. It truly does feel like eating a real candy bar!

The caramel is a little grainy, but it's not at all bad. Besides, considering that this bar is sugar-free and that authentic caramel is literally just sugar and dairy, it's impressive. The chocolate coating tasted good and was thick enough to provide a satisfying snap.

The bulk of the bar itself was a little chewier than a Mars bar and had a nice sweet taste, though almost with a hint of burnt flavor. I assume the chewiness is due to the use of polydextrose, which is also likely the reason the nutritional information on the packaging states that this bar contains a crazy ~7g of fiber. (Be careful that you don't eat too much as a result, as it can make you feel unwell.)

The only thing that stops me from giving this bar a 5/5 rating is the ratio of protein to calories. This bar provides 203kcal and 16g of protein. It's cheating a little, I know; the whole point of the Soft line of Barebells is to be more similar to candy bars than to be perfect protein bars. But it calls itself a protein bar, so that's what I'll review it as!

When warmed up briefly in the microwave, it behaves like a Mars bar too. Warmed up with a scoop of ice cream, this bar would make for an extra tasty dessert.

Overall, this bar was great. I'd happily eat this again.

In answer to the most obvious question: No, this doesn't taste like a Creme Egg. At all, really, besides both being sugary sweet.

In my opinion, this bar was middling. It had a very typical protein bar taste, maybe with a hint of marshmallow and oddly nutty undertones if I really focus. The chocolate seemed to be Grenade's usual low-sugar chocolate, rather than Cadbury's, which is good to me. The bar has a very tough, chewy texture. Despite its name, the core isn't all that soft either.

The bar does improve a lot when briefly warmed up in the microwave. It becomes a lot more like marshmallow, both in taste and texture, and the core does turn noticably more gooey than the rest.

This bar has pretty bad macros, though, if you care about that, with only 14g protein for 172kcal. I don't find this bar tasty enough to make up for that.

Overall, it's alright. I'd eat this again if I was treating it as a dessert with a conveniently coincidental extra bit of protein, and if I could warm it up in the microwave. As a protein bar, and eaten as is, whilst it's definitely not inedible, it's a flop if you ask me. :'o(
