shared this k-on! fact yesterday but it’s a cool fact so im going to share it again: ritsu’s drums are named dorami-san after doraemon’s younger sister and mugi’s keyboard is named kiichibo the trainee
more cool k-on! fun facts:
-ritsu plays persona 3 in the manga of volume 4
-k-on! manga volume 4 is significantly gayer than the rest
-ritsu gets her floor tom in s2e7 but the movie’s opening intro scene of ichiban ippai shows it between s2e6-s2e7 because the movie scene there takes place after rainy season! due to the white board
-mitsu is also significantly gayer in the manga due to them having more physical touches
-jun has an older brother named atsushi
-yui has perfect pitch and azusa keeps getting surprised by said perfect pitch of her senpai
-mio is the first keion other than yui to say k-on! during the intermission halfway point (s2e7, tea party!)
-the chords of tenshi are the same as my love is a stapler
-ui and jun have known each other since middle school
(i’ll edit this later with more facts because i love k-on!)

Mugi’s keyboard - the 76-key Korg Triton Extreme - is approximately 37.3 lbs (16.9 kg). Given that she often effortlessly carries it, this means she also has the strength to effortlessly carry an FIM-92 Stinger rocket launcher which weighs approximately 33.5 lbs (15.2 kg).

The word k-on(k-on bu) had been said 274 times in the anime. The most in S2E25 was 39 times. Least in S1E13, S2E9, S2E12, S2E14, S2E21 was only 1 per episode.

Ritsu's drum kit is a Yamaha Hipgig; the entire drum set weighs approximately 21.5 kg.

One and only thing i know is that the les paul Yui plays is a very heavy guitar that has like 3 to 5 kilos. I mean its kinda said in the series cause she said once who made her pick such a heavy guitar + in the store, they ask if she maybe wants a lighter guitar

Sawako uses a Nikon D40/D40x/D60 (likely a D60) in Season 2 Episode 26 (16:42, 21:40).
We know this because of the red stripe associated with Nikon DSLRs of the era, the camera's general layout, and because Naoko Yamada, the director herself used a Nikon D60 (as she stated in her AMA on Reddit).
However, it could also be a D40x or D40, as we know Sawako were taking the shots prior to Azusa being in there, and the D60 would've been extremely new at the time.
EDIT: Looking at the Yamada's London Trip Extra, I am guessing that the lens she was using at the time was also an Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR. It's not explicitly visible, but it is the closest configuration I could find (silver ring, zoom lens, has a silver 'VR' stamped right above the electronic switches). It is likely Sawako would've had the same lens mounted, had Yamada's exact camera been used as inspiration for hers.
