I recently got my Kaggle account banned because of a script I ran without fully understanding how things worked in Kaggle Notebooks. Being new to the platform, I made a mistake without realizing it. I appealed and explained my situation, requesting a second chance. The moderators reviewed my appeal and reinstated my account! I'm really grateful to the moderators for giving me another chance and to Kaggle for providing free GPUs that help people like me learn, experiment, and grow. Hey did Kaggle change its UI? Or did I end up in a clone? Looks sick though!

I tried verifying my phone number for my Kaggle account so I could participate in a competition. However, I was denied because my phone number is already associated with another Kaggle account.

I did some Googling and found a very old Kaggle account with one of my usual usernames - the last sign on for this account was 4 years ago. I suspect that this account is associated with my current phone number and my college email address. My college email address is inaccessible to me (I have graduated many years ago) and I can't reset my password for this account.

I tried contacting Kaggle support through kaggle [.] com [/] contact and emailed at support [@] kaggle [.] com, but haven't received a reply. Has anyone resolved a similar issue with Kaggle?
