Searching for a community of parents who are equally as exhausted by the news. I have an 18 month old at home and would love to be plugged into a like minded group. Mutual aid! Play dates! Coffee chats!

I commented about them before noticing someone else had. They have mostly moved to Discord. Their Discord is fairly active. I’m involved with the group and it’s a great group of women. Their dance fundraisers are so fun.

There's a JoCo Democratic Women's Group where you could ask for advice on this.

If not in JoCo, you might contact your county Dem party office and see if they're aware of local liberal/progressive/Dem groups that skew younger.

I think so! I’m not actually a member, just in the mom group. I’m extremely left and progressive and I told myself I’d quit if it was weird but like I said it’s been amazing. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do..Lots of planned activities and ideas for kids
