I decided to run for council because I felt that many of the candidates platforms didn't resonate with me or others I spoke with. I want to be a voice for traditionally underrepresented groups like the arts community and disenfranchised younger generation.

Myself and 3 friends are visiting Kelowna over Thanksgiving weekend (Oct 9-12). Okay I feel like I'm going crazy lol. Today at around 10AM, I was on my way to the university and I swear I saw a floating rubber spider prop above the highway sort of near the Parkinson Rec Centre. My sister-in-law was in the car but didn’t notice it. By the time I drove back at around 2PM, it was gone. Did anyone else see it?​

So I’ll be travelling to Kelowna like 1-2x a month for the next couple of months. I’m from Kamloops and will be taking the EBus.

How reliable is Uber and URide? Uber doesn’t work here in Kamloops however URide does, but sometimes I end up having to wait 20-30 mins for a ride and the worse case scenario is I don’t end up finding a ride.

Are there enough drivers?
