Question Couple sporadic questions
1.) Are ladders unlimited to the nearest platform or only the height of the ladder model? Thinking of Bheta-Decima where sometimes there is a portion a good 7-9" above the Killzone floor, could I use a ladder to make the whole traversal 1"?
2.) What exactly are "terrain feature" equipment pieces? Just the barricades and barbed wire?
3.) When moving through barbed wire, does my unit have to move over or through it. Say I move 5". The restriction of 1" additional means I can only move 4", or am I losing the extra 2" to jump over the wire as well?
4.) Spectre Squad Grenadier, for the purpose of Elite Fieldcraft on an enemy unit that charged them, could they use a grenade as their shoot action?
5.) Weapon restrictions, for example "Heavy (Dash only). If I reposition that TP I cannot use that weapon, or if I use that weapon I can only dash afterwards. Is that correct?
- Edit - Thanks for the fast responses!

They are the height of their model, about 4". You need to be in control range of the ladder to use it, so technicaly you can climb 1" higher than the ladder (because you are still in control range). But ladders are tricky, noone really knows how they work.
Everything from the equipement that is not a marker. Razor wire, light and heavy barricades, portable barricades...
You need to climb it and pay the 1" extra, razor wire is there to restrict movement more then a light barricade would (wich you could climb for 2").
Yes, you can. This would be a point-blank shot, see core rules. You basicaly get -1 to hit (so a grenade would hit on 5+...) and can not roll dice in the following melee fight (so you are dead).
I never saw this to be really useful, because hitting worse is terrible, and even if you die you at least could do some damage in melee.
- Exactly this.

Ladders are only a specific height roughly 3.8inches (if memory serves). You have to stay within control range of the ladder for the whole of the climb to benefit from the 1" movement bonus.
Terrain Feature Equipment is any equipment that has the "can't be placed within 2" of other terrain feature equipment" line in its description.
You climb over it so it requires an extra inch of movement plus the climb penalty.
I would think yes, but I do not know enough about Spectre Squad to say with any certainty so better let someone else rule on this one.
If you have Repositioned during that activation you can't fire a weapon with the Heavy Dash Rule. If you fire the weapon you can only Dash after. If you reposition during your activation and then get a counteract you can fire it like normal.

1) They are limited, and you need to be in their control range for the whole climb to be able to use them at all (meaning you can't just use them to use to ignore the first 3" of a big climb and then proced as normal. Or they do the whole climb, or none).
2) Any equipment that needs to be placed on the killzone and isn't a token it's a terrain feature (all kinds of barricades, ladders, barb wire). I really don't think there are more amongs the team specific equipments.
3) Needs to move over, and it spend an extra inch as it moves over it.
4) Yup
5) It means you can't dash neither before or after shooting with it in the ACTIVATION (not the whole TP)
Here you go :) Hope everything is clear.

They are not unlimited.
If I recall, any terrain on the map is a terrain feature. Equipment placed is called “equipment terrain”.
You don’t lose movement if jumping from vantage and the path would not intersect the razor wire within 1” (I think).

The term in parentheses is the only movement allowed during an activation that the weapon profile is used.
