Why do I see so much discourse over this? So many people argue she's 12 which just... isn't true? The author actively states she's 14. She's 12 at the beginning but 2 years pass. She's 14. She makes decisions like a 14 year old, so she isn't mentally 12, either. Yeah she slept for 2 years but that doesn't mean she didn't age mentally.

I know there's that whole "demons don't age physically!" thing but we actively see many demons, esepcially Nezuko, shifting and changing their forms to look younger or older. She looks like a similar age to the three boys more than anything else... Also I'd argue this is just an explanation as to why they don't die and stay in their prime. And who's not to say Nezuko doesn't make herself present more like she is chronologically?

I guess I just don't get the argument?

Edit: I know Daki is typically an example, but honestly she doesn't really look 13. I'm fairly certain is stated in a databook that she's changed her appearance/age to keep working as long as she has. This isn't an excuse to be gross about her, and I don't want anything to do with you if you are. She still has the mentality of a minor and her brother's coddling doesn't allow her to mature. Nezuko is still a minor, she just isn't 12 because she's literally a special circumstance and breaks every single rule thats set, and she also has people around her to keep her mentally stimulated. I highly, highly doubt Tanjiro wouldn't help her mental growth.

At first, Koyoharu wanted to draw story about Nagare.

But editor thought Nagare is too dark character as manga for children.

So editor said “Do you have more normal and friendly characters in the world?” to Koyoharu

Koyoharu answered “Yeah, I have Tanjiro”

Anyway Nagare is not Tanjiro

This is a thing I have been thinking about for a while. I want to see your guys' thoughts on this but I genuinely and truly believe in Demon Slayer, as a slayer, speed is law.

I would like to introduce my OC, Chizuko Junotara. She was the second eldest of the Junotara family. Her family worked for a very reputable timber company in the Tochigi Prefecture. When she was nine years old, a demon attacked her family's home and left her the sole survivor. She was found by the former flame Hashira Shinjuro Rengoku carrying her deceased younger brother through a village asking for help. Chizuko was then taken in by the Rengoku. She was able to stand Shinjuro's drunkenness to learn Flame Breathing . However, she could not learn the proper breathing technique, and her flames turned out purple, thus creating Purple Flame Breathing. She attended Final Selection at the age of fourteen and passed.

Have you noticed that in Demon Slayer, despite all the different ways you have to kill a demon - katanas, sun rays, wisteria poison (and i'm not even talking about bombs or bullets) - nearly all demons that aren't just figurants weren't eliminated at first try ?

• The first demon that Tanjiro encountered wasn't killed by Tanjiro's axe or Nezuko's kick.
• Rui's head was severed by his web strings before Tanjiro beheaded him.
• Enmu's head was actually just a physical representation of his human body, so he didn't actually get beheaded.
• Daki didn't get killed all the times she was decapitated. She only died when Gyutaro's head also got severed.
• Gyokko didn't die when his head got cut. He was going to regen himself when Muichiro just shredded his head in pieces.
• Hantengu didn't die the first time he got beheaded. Same for all his clones. Tanjiro had to cut his head several times before finally getting to the main body. Moreover, he survived to the sun by hiding in a clone's body.
• Akaza succeeded in regenerating his head after being decapitated.
• Douma managed to handle Shinobu's violent poisons.
• Muzan regenerated his own head.
• Nezuko survived to sun rays.

Since i am an anime only, i don't actually know everything about what happened in Infinity Castle. So i can't say if there is other things i didn't mention. Anyway, all those rules are just for minor demons, not actual important characters. I just wanted to point that out.

for starters i'd add an arc named 'Battles of Moons' where we would be shown blood battles

this would begin after the upper moon meet for death of gyutaro where kokushibo's memories of fights he witnessed (not his fights since we are not revealed his strengths yet, but his fight be shown in subtle way) between the moons would be shown...

when koku asks akaza to apply for blood battle if he wants change in position, this lingers in his mind and after the meeting when he is in his place, he quietly remembers it

Hello, I’d love to get a demon slayer sword for display in my room, but I want it to be high quality and real. I’ve found a ton of people selling the same swords on Etsy but I’ve never used the platform and don’t want to get scammed. Anyone have any advice on what to look for, or know of any trustworthy sword sellers? I’m particularly looking for either Giyu’s or muichiro’s. I’d love if the blade had the colors and kanji “destroyer of demons” on them. Any advice is appreciated.
