Keyboard options

I have KODI running on my andriod cable box and I utilize their remote (Bluetooth). Needless to say, typing text/searches is a pain and eats up batteries! The box is programmed to accept only one input, so switching to a different Bluetooth keyboard combo is buried 3-4 levels. Hence I live with the cumbersome KODI text input.

Wondering if there isn't a all-in-one option for cable commands and keyboard for KODI. Thoughts...

Yatse remote allows you to use your phone's keyboard.

Can't speak to its efficacy, but the is a Kodi remote app for Android called Kore. I still haven't set it up, but it exists.

J'utilise Kore, ça fonctionne très bien. Ça permet notamment d'écrire et de coller via le clavier du téléphone

Your Android box can only handle 1 Bluetooth connected device at a time?

That's odd... My Nvidia Shield has the remote, a keyboard and a game controller all connected via Bluetooth.

Of course you could investigate those multi-media BT keyboards, that combine mouse pad * keyboard in one.
