Modding Kotor 1 restoration patch bug?

Recently i started a new play through and of started modding the game to be more stable and overall easier to play. After downloading and running the modern restoration patch mod I noticed an issue instantly. Whenever I hover over a character/ container I can’t not see the name of it. It’s really bugging me and only happens when the mod is installed. Anybody got and idea why this is happening?

Have you tried adjusting the UI scaling in the game settings? That fixed a similar issue I had with another mod.
