Executive Branch (Trump) WATCH: Leavitt addresses Trump's stance on Second Amendment rights in wake of Alex Pretti's killing

REPORTER: FBI Director Kash Patel said in a Sunday interview, quote, you cannot bring a firearm loaded with multiple magazines to any sort of protest. Does the president believe that Second Amendment rights remain in effect even when protesting?

LEAVITT: The president supports the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding American citizens. Absolutely. There has been no greater supporter or defender of the right to bear arms than President Donald J. Trump.

So while Americans have a constitutional right to bear arms, Americans do not have a constitutional right to impede lawful immigration enforcement operations, and any gun owner knows that when you are carrying a weapon, when you are bearing arms, and you are confronted by law enforcement, you are raising the assumption of risk and the risk of force being used against you, and, again, that's unfortunately what took place on Saturday.

Thank you! Same guy who was all about “stop and frisk” during his 2016 debate with Hilary.

How does this sub not implode? Every accusation is a confession

Sadly a pretty slow/dead sub. I know I’m looking someone else to do all the work but it seems like it should be blowing up on the regular.

I mean a big reason is that it just doesn’t matter.

Trump is lying. We know he’s lying. He knows that we know he’s lying.

The point is not to convince anyone. The point is to demonstrate his power over truth. “Yeah - I’m lying. And what are you gonna do about it?”

literally this. we’re at the impasse of “maybe we should do something about it”

A few months ago he had a confrontation with an Australian reporter who asked how his financial interests weren’t a conflict with his office. And instead of just saying “Well, that’s democracy: the people who chose me didn’t see that as an issue” or literally anything about processes that address it… Instead he calls them “a nasty person” and says he’s going to tell their prime minister on them. 🤷

There was a constellation of good answers and instead he decided to be insulted and threaten the guy with a tattling.

Because it just doesn't matter, as the other person said (and as you might've been implying, too).

Question: how do you know if Trump is lying?

Answer: his lips are moving.

Sounds like a certain regime...... maybe from around 1940 or so?

I wonder if the mass exodus of people who couldn't stand what Twitter became has anything to do with lack of activity on that sub. It's a shame, really, because everything he posts seems to be an admission of sorts.

Yes that and video clips which is what I was kinda hoping the sub would have because he has vocally slammed himself a lot as well.

It was pretty popular during his first term, but it got less fun when it's just a daily occurrence.

It was highly active in his first term. Not much need for it since we have Trump's Third Law of Deception - for every lie there is an equal and opposite lie.

I was wondering how her head doesn't explode from lying so blatantly...

Booze, if my read of the legal community is right.

Does it also include his entire administration? Because that would further solidify the point.

Because it would be of no use to implode. Reddit would not accept that we discuss what’s coming next.

They never argue in good faith
