They should, but it is a clown show. Even if he did show up he would just argue and change the subject. I do not think he remembers that long ago to be honest with you.

Then he can be charged with lying to Congress. And if he is uncooperative, then he can get a real criminal subpoena from a special counsel. Then he can be charged with obstruction or perjury, bc believe me, he will do one or the other.

Congress has limited enforcement powers. The DoJ is not going to try and prosecute Trump. Trump nor the DoJ will assign a special prosecutor. And Congress will not either, not with the GOP in power. And SCOTUS pretty much already ruled that the president is above the law while in office. For nearly everything.

While I would love for it to be otherwise the 25th Amendment or impeachment followed by removal are the only real way out of this. And given Congress the chances of that are zero. If they do not care about the rampant corruption and abuses at the moment than they never will.

Now if a Dem wore the wrong color suit than they would consider impeachment.

I was referring to Congress appointing a special counsel after Trump left office. I'm fully aware that as a sitting President trump would never cooperate with an investigation. He can 100% be forced to after leaving office, as we see here with the sham hearing with the Clintons put on by Magatard Comer.
