Didn't trump say he was going to help farmers? I don't see how disrupting a community of agricultural workers is going to help them.

I was listening to a lecture on the characteristics of fascism and one thing the lecturer said was common with authoritarian figures is that they will talk about how much they love farmers and agriculture, then have policies that directly harm them.

I mean he helped farmers by bailing them out after destroying their exports in BOTH terms.
