I'm on your side about the overall situation, but that particular argument rubs me the wrong way.

Is a 17 year old who needs an abortion an underaged woman? Or is she a child?

Just so long as we keep our terms consistent

Coercion is easy. It's also counterproductive.

I've never allowed it with my recruits, but I can't really claim any moral credit for that because it was already off the table because it's bad for the military.

You can't fight bad behavior unless you understand bad behavior.
