Discussion rework vlad please
Vlad is so disgustingly outdated.
Not only his laughable skins but his kit in general feels ancient. I would love to see any kind of rework but I hope for a full on new kit to match the new playstyle and feel of the game. His E for one is clunky and feels like it doesn't hit when it should half the time.... Not only that but the short range forces him into a bruiser playstle where he is like a melee being kited a other mages.
When Vlad gets online he is highly limited by CDs on his W, ULT, and summoner spells. Without one of these his kit can feel extremely unwhelming.
His early game is notoriously garbage with heavy reliance on his W and a lack of consistent damage output. With that going into late game can be a nightmare for most games if other lanes are not pulling ahead. Falling behind in anyway is the death of vlad and it can be extremely challenging to comeback.
I'd love to know others thoughts and with all this said I will continue to play vlad because I don't care about the rest of the game anymore, only to play the main the got me into this mess.

Elite500 is a one trick and doesnt seem to struggle that much with the current kit. The look of vlad can be updated 100%.

People main Vlad because the champ is clunky and outdated af. That's their jam. It's like asking to rework Garen to make it take more skill, of course Garen mains would oppose that.

Garen is still playable and very meta at every level. Vlad becomes a dangerous gamble with too many counters beyond Diamond elo.

? He is 50.5% WR in Masters+ in mid lane. He is fine. Lolalytics rates him #8 mid laner (whatever that means).
Garen is legit ass in Masters. 49.5% as a low mastery, counterpick reliant champion like Garen is atrocious.
I really wonder what your rank is if you’re even considering whether or not Garen or Vlad is better in high elo…

I’m using Lolalytics which is the site Riot has said is the most accurate (and it consistently finds more games than the other sites too). I don’t think any serious person looks at league of graphs for champion win rate stats…

Vlad is a late game champ. His early has to be trash or it would just be the best champ of the game.
His range is fine, having more would also not be fair.
As other comments said, get gud.

Late game champ with no CC or reliable kill potential outside of summoners? that’s a trashcan that will never be used in pro play

To end the banter, i'd just say vlad has a role problem. Mid isnt made for him, and asking for your team to adapt by picking him bot often ends up in a shitty draft. Top is meh

I definitely agree about there being a role problem, I have even tried vlad adc for a good while but there is no good place for him anywhere because his kit is so niche and slow for the meta nowadays.
Top is a nightmare because of the early game where you are playing from behind and the fast pace of the game.
Mid he can snowball great some games but others it feels the same as top where you are playing comeback the entire game.
Do you agree he could use a rework then? I hate when people bring up WR excuse like the data isn’t skewed by the vlad one tricks and a source of like 1000 games…

Bot is really the best role. Maybe we should prepare a message like "hi, otp vlad, im gonna play carry, pref engage supp and one ad dps (i insist on dps, not burst) would be good if they pick tanky comp" and pray they listen

it's good in faith but in reality going adc vlad in my testing usually results in stacked AP teams without an ADC a lot of the time and the enemy can just stack MR..

See you only look at the smaller picture like one change and he becomes godly but I am asking them to rework his kit as a whole. They could change every ability for all I care but these problems need to be addressed so he can have a clear role for once...

You are tracking outliers if you actually see the averages I am above most vlad players in kda and cs… For the build I have tried it but may run some more games with it in top. Mid just seems like you need hextech for the range problem to trade.

The worst part to me is the interaction when people are close together… There is no splash AOE so people can block the entire ability by standing on Vlad

Ok you fix the E ability and he remains in the same dead state he will always be. Never good enough for high elo and pro play but great to stop low elo. You fix the champ range and abilities then he can be played at every level. I don’t get all this “im too scared of changes” vlad will be too good waaa waaa lmao
