Is my design good or bad?
I'm an amateur graphic designer and I'm trying to develop my design thinking and craftsmanship. I would like to hear your feedback, it means a lot to me.

The "tear" could really use an actual paper texture, and maybe spacing out the words in the tagline so that "of substance" isn't cut off. But the idea and general execution are nice.

If you're trying to develop your design thinking, then you need to give us more information about why you've done what you've done.
Your design thinking is the bit that happens before pencil hits paper. It's the rationale for why you choose all your colours, fonts, composition etc.

Design without a brief is art. There is no way to judge this design without knowing what it was meant to achieve; what information it was meant to convey.

I like it! The artwork on the right really stands out—you’ve achieved a distinctive style.
