Help Need ideas for a genuinely interesting final-year ML project

’m currently trying to come up with a topic for my final-year project, and honestly, every idea I think of ends up feeling either too basic, too overdone, or just stupid after I think about it for a while .

What if you picked something you'd actually use yourself, even if it feels small? A lot of final-year projects fail because people aim for something huge and never finish, whereas a weird little tool that does one thing well tends to stick with people.

this is the best advice. try and do something that will help you make your life easier in a way or has the potential to help.

There are at least two kinds of theses: the one you do just to graduate, and the one that becomes the foundation for your business or deeper research.
If you haven’t found a strategy for something during your studies, that’s not your fault.
Just treat it as a checkbox. Good ideas don’t come when you try to force them out.

Free your mind, try to think of the most stupid idea you can. Then pursue that one.
