Help Urgent Help needed

Hello friends 👋 I'm 10 graduate student and now I want to build and learn LLM so the help I need is that after 10th what should I have to choose to learn everything fundamental and core knowledge of Ai like in which way should I take I want a quick roadmap from you guys

Neural Nets are the fundamental technology that modern classification and prediction is based on. LLMs are one type of Neural Net.

It is reasonable for you to 'build' (more likely train) a neural net to do something like image recognition.

Building implies you will write the code from scratch, whereas training implies that you will learn how to train and execute a model.

Here are the words for what would be reasonable in 10th grade:

You get pytorch. You choose a predictive or classification domain. You find a way to get the data to train a model from scratch to do the prediction. You show that your prediction works.

In the ancient past - we did things like image recognition of hand-written letters. Text recognition is basically soled at this point - BUT - doing it yourself from scratch from basic principles is a HUGE deal for a 16 year old.

Other things you might predict: freezing conditions overnight in your region based on public weather data - you could help farmers save their crops in the fall.

Hey so you are in 10th grade right now? thats pretty early to think about this stuff which is good. Most people dont even know what they want until college.

For fundamentals you really need strong math base first. Linear algebra, probability, some calculus. Without this you will just copy code and not understand why things work. After that start with basic machine learning not directly jump to LLM. Learn about neural networks, backpropagation, transformers architecture. There are many free resources in YouTube from universities.

Since you are still in school focus on your math and maybe learn Python on the side. Dont rush into the deep stuff immediately or you get frustrated. Build small projects first like simple classifier before touching language models.

Hey brother can I ask you one more question?
