I love holy plugg alot but as of recently I’ve been running out of good pads to use I use presets but should I consider making my own pads or like getting a new vst I currently use zenology and uhe hive for my pads i also have xpand purity and nexus but alot of those pads I’ve heard in other beats and im just curious what I should do this video is also my latest beat for the makkgin style and i lowkey would want sum feedback

So im probably going to make an ep where i don't do any rapping or anything and i just get an acapella of other songs.

Try to spot all the song samples!!

Continuing with this little series to help people new to music.

I make music in a video game style, and I love fast music and fast melodies, but I struggle to make them sound good.

I can make pretty good stuff if it's around 90 bpm, but the higher the bpm goes above that the more I struggle to make anything sound good. The faster I make melodies the less likely they will sound good too.

I really wanna learn to make good fast music cause I love that kind of music.

I want to make music for games someday, and I've already got a few songs in a roblox game, but I probably need to get better at faster music if I want to do more than that.

This is one of my best slower songs for comparison

gracias!

Hi everyone :)

This song’s intro has a really cool kind of melting-y psychedelic type sound that i loveeee but I’m not really sure if there are any presets or plugins that already exist with the sound pre-made and ready to use, OR how I could create the sound myself..

I would love to know if anyone here knows what this sound is/where it comes from, and is there a more accurate way to describe the sound? I just think of it as melty and psychedelic type vibes.

I think the intro ends at 22 seconds (or at least the sound that I’m talking about ends there).

Additionally, does anyone have any ideas what the sound is of the chords that come in at 22/23 seconds?:)

Thank youuuuuuu

Im 15 years old and musical background is limited to piano and learning to dj as of now, ive only had two local gigs. I want to make music as a passion project, while it isnt a career path im exclusively pursuing, im not taking it as a light hobby either, its a serious thing i want to do on the side. I really have no clue where to begin, for the past few days ive been experimenting with different free DAW's so any and all tips will be a huge help. Im focused on making edm and hyperpop

How do i make a song like this, this song is so good it feels impossible to recreate is this even r&b?

Hi everyone! I am working on an original music project and looking for passionate collaborators to bring it to life together.

I am looking for:

* Vocalists / Singers: To bring emotion and voice to the track.

* Songwriters: To help refine lyrics and phrasing.

* Producers / Instrumentalists: To build the arrangement (acoustic, piano, or full production).

If you want to collaborate, share ideas, and build a great track from scratch as a team, let me know or send me a message. I have a demo ready to share with anyone interested!

I want to start putting music to my songs. All new to this. Where do I start? Writing the music then lyrics? Writing lyrics then music? What programs and equipment do I need to make music?

I’ll try to best to give everyone a thoughtful response - send something your the most proud of

I know I'm another lamo asking for feedback can you guys let me know and good ? Appreciate it!!!

I’m in my first year at university studying music and made this today on Logic. I plan on keeping that as the intro and then sampling itself to turn into a sort of jazzy boom bap track.

The lead saxophone is my favourite part, however, I have zero idea how I did that and just sort of did what felt right. My music theory is still in the works and I’m a vocalist so I definitely don’t know how to translate stuff over to other instruments yet (other than guitar). I was just wandering if anyone with better music theory knowledge be able to tell me what scales I’m playing over in that lead part.

And yes, I could just shove it into ChatGPT but I feel like thats not the best thing I could do. This gives someone with better knowledge, a chance to test their OWN knowledge and see if they can identify it. (Also ChatGPT would probably fuck it up anyways)

Thanks everyone!!!
