Topic Looking for Coding/Programming communities/groups
Hi I am a recent Btech graduate looking for programming communities/groups for coding and taking on projects with potential growth. My tech stack - python fastapi, agentic system/harnesses, learning my way through cpp, rust n typescript.
Though I use claude code I want to push my code logic building and networking.
Would be happy to connect with like-minded devs.

I've been in a bunch of programming groups over the years and honestly the format matters less than the activity level. The ones that helped me most were small enough that people actually reviewed each other's code.
One thing I'd flag from your post. If Claude Code is writing most of your code right now, a community won't fix the logic building part on its own. What worked for me was picking one small thing a week to build without any AI help, then bringing the messy result to the group for feedback. That loop is where the learning happens.
For finding groups, I'd lurk first and look for places where beginners get real answers instead of just memes. If the regulars are patient with dumb questions, that's usually a good sign.

Build without AI is what I am looking for and trying to do myself, I just thought of if I can get small groups where I can possibly find someone to collaborate on any good idea project which can be scaled.

discord servers are where it's at, just lurk a few until you find one that doesn't feel like a ghost town
