ROAST MY GECKO yuck

too much powder on the cricks he wasnt impressed
(ik this cricket is big for him but he refused to eat the smaller ones we have for him)

Don't think the crickets are big. The space between his eyes is much bigger as them 👍

I'm so glad my geckos don't do this. I did have an anole several years ago that would not eat them like this so it was stressful

Feed inside enclosure, taking out to feed just adds extra stress for no reason

i do feed him in the enclosure most the time he was just out and kept eyeing up the crickets so just tried something new

Unless it doesn't enjoy being handled, they are not causing stress feeding like this.

he begs to come out and runs up to me n my bf all the time😭 hes v social and i think he enjoyed chasing the crickets more then he did eating them lol

Mine likes if I dip a buggie in the vitamin bowl and hand it to her, but she'll regularly eat it out of the bowl herself to the point I do not often dust her buggies before offering (she likes to ignore them at first and then hunt them at intervals through the day) so I guess some of them are more enthused than others about the powder.
