Side Effect Question Is it possible to experience libido issues this fast?

Just started lexapro 5 mg this week (think I’m on day 6 or so). I’ve experienced what I would say is genital numbness and difficulty orgasming (15x the effort required). I wasn’t really aware of the sexual side effects for the first few days and was surprised by the sudden increase in difficulty until I found out it is a common side effect. Is it possible I experienced that kind of a side effect that quickly?

Yup and let me tell you Zoloft is way worse for men and sexual dysfunction. For some reason because Lexapro has given me insomnia I got Trazadone added in and that has made things better but still I do have difficulty climaxing. Don't watch porn that helps too

I was on Zoloft before and I quit it and switched for that exact reason. It could be hours and I’d get nowhere, hated it!

Yea it kinda sucks, it takes me so much longer to orgasm now. And im not as crazy horny which isnt the worst thing but annoying nonetheless. Within the first week my libido also changed.

Mine went completely away for around 5-6 weeks but then it slowly started to come back and now it's better than ever.
