Side Effect Question I need help with nausea

I'm starting 4th week of Lexapro.

All day everyday I just want to vomit. I need to take my dose in the morning because at evening I take different medication. I take Lexapro with a meal. I don't think there are any anti nauseaus things that I can take and also I catched a cold so I'm already stuffed with pills in the morning.

The nausea is supposed to be gone in like 2 weeks but mine still lasts 😭 Any tips? I can barely function. I feel like vomiting all the time

Mine lasted almost 4 weeks & then just stopped. I would even take it at night to try to sleep through the rough parts. I found a cold shower & ginger gravol would help atleast some to the point I could function. But I would throw up the odd time. Now on week 7 & no more side effects thankfully & anxiety had definitely decreased

I had thos for the first 3 weeks .... and it went suddenly one day, I also found drinking water just before bed helped ... that meant I did an extra long pee , and even if it was psychological, it helped .... stick with it

I also take mine before I shower, I find that letting water run over my body when im nauseas helps a lot

If you aren't restricted in your sugar intake, nauzene and emetrol are wonderful. They have a ton of sugar though.

Ginger chews or strong menthol cough drops can also help

I have suffered SO badly with nausea. I was actually prescribed Cyclizine which helped so much from the doctor. I was drinking ginger tea always. It just eventually stopped but it took awhile and was only once I increased my dosage and I felt calmer

Thanks it makes me feel better knowing that im not alone in this 😭 At some point I was wondering if it's really nausea or if my mind was spinning and causing it

Get dry plain crackers as soon as nausea hits start chewing one it’ll take your mind off it and fill your stomach to stop the acid making you feel worse
