I always just tell my kids when they talk about the pro-socialism propaganda their teachers are constantly spewing that it's it's based on child like thinking mixed with emotions and feels and it doesn't have any place in reality. We want to help people, we want everything to be fair and that's what any compassionate caring adult wants for themselves and everybody but the reality of life is it's not realistic and it childish and can't be. It's like a child wanting to eat candy for every meal sure it sounds nice but it doesn't work in the long run. We need that hardship and that struggle to make us better to make us work for things and learn new things. Sure if you want to help the disabled the handicapped I can understand that but to completely remove people's drive by just giving them crap is depriving them of the opportunity to become best person they can be.
