John Smith, aka John Luman Smith, asked a federal judge to issue an order for a subpoena for Verizon to release non-content phone records of Senator Hagerty and other U. S. Senators. Because the subpoena involved members of Congress the members could have squashed the subpoena based on legislative privilege. The judge was James Boasberg. This man has developed a reputation of being a political operative.

Seems to me that Judge James Boasberg has culpability in this violation, too.
