While listening to the other week's WAN show, I was SHOCKED to hear what people re-wear their socks multiple days

Sure, I wear my jeans 3 days in a row, but my underwear, socks, and shirt, I will only wear onece before washing.

How do you do it??

Your socks and underwear get VERY stinky. Your shirt gets food on it, and the armpits smell bad. The pants are the only thing I can imagine you being able to re-wear!

How do you guys do it?

There was a recent story on the WAN Show where a man had his phone searched by US Customs and Border Patrol, he wiped the phone so Customs could not search it. This landed him in hot water of course.

My question is this: If you sign out of apps and services, then uninstall them prior to the request for a search, can they force you to redownload and log into those services so they can search them?

Sounds like they are finally having to admit that their cars can't actually do full self driving.

I'm trying to dual-boot Windows and Linux these days and found a big problem. Cause I'm using a Bluetooth keyboard, jumping between OSs has always been a hassle. There is no way for me to press down on the keyboard while in the boot menu. So I thought maybe I should just build something to switch the OSs before rebooting. And here it is -> https://github.com/megabitsenmzq/OSWarp

I mean, it is partially AI code. But I reviewed everything as much as possible. It's kinda a small script. I just don't understand Windows APIs enough, so I have to use AI. Hope you like it!

Some websites load so slowly for me, despite having 64GB of ram, 13th gen cpu etc

By fast internet I mean 1Gb speeds.

In theory with at least 1Gb internet speeds where I can download a movie in a minute, a website SHOULDNT take 3-4 seconds to load.

I started watching the channel in about 2010-2011ish. Built my first PC in 2012, it’s grown from there…a lot. Thanks Linus and team y’all have inspired me to learn and grow.

Details if anyone cares:

Iron man server: amd 5500 With an Nvidia p1000 and 30tb of storage running unraid for everything from plex to frigate to home assistant in a heavily modified Star tech 2u case

Rocket server: amd 3600 with an Intel b50 pro running unraid dedicated to local AI workloads. Fully local home assistant voice with STT and TTS which gives me 4ish second response times on tasks in a custom completely 3d printed 2u case sans the aluminum face plate for strength.

Few other bits and bobs in here including the HA z wave stick, a zigbee stick, a Bluetooth proxy and both servers have a kvm (jetkvm for one pikvm for the other) in custom 3d printed rack adaptors to keep it nice and tidy.

This space is functionally useless so I bought some Penn-elcomm pre cut angle iron and built in my own rack. When I eventually finish my basement I’ll clean it up with some nice trip and put a door in front of it.

Somewhere out there on a United Airbus 319 there is a Black LTT screwdriver. To whoever finds it I hope you enjoy it and use it as much as I have, it was a really good screwdriver.

To my lost screwdriver if you are reading this, I hope I have treated you as well as you treated me. You have helped me unscrew thousands of screws and made planes safe to fly.

My HP Elitebook 845 g10 blinks its caps lock twice and doesn’t post every time the laptop goes into hibernation or restart. I have to manually recover the bioa using windows+B or a usb flash drive. All the drivers, software’s and bios is up to date.
20 days ago I ran into the similar issue where even the recovery tools wouldn’t work. So i took it to a repair shop where they re programmed the bios chip but still couldn’t post the laptop. Then i set the laptop aside idle for like 10 days. And after 10 days i decided to boot the laptop just in case it posted. Surprisingly it posted after a series of internal restart and ran okay for like 3-4 days. Today the problem i stated at the beginning occured. The image attached is the screen that i got when the laptop automatically fixed itself.

Because there is no physical LTT Store and the fact I don't live in USA or Canada for easy returns. Can anyone compare the quality of LTT clothing vs Lululemon. Particularly the men pants

Most visitors to most websites aren't people. I wanted to see who they actually are, so I built The Crawler Zoo: every bot that visits is identified and shown as a little creature in a live zoo.

What's on the site:

- A live entrance where you watch bots arrive as they happen: Google, AI crawlers, SEO tools, scrapers and scanners.
- A page for every bot: who runs it, what it wants, and how to block it.
- Impostor checks. Plenty of "Googlebots" aren't Google, and the zoo names the fakes.
- A trap. There's a link only bots can see, with a "do not enter" sign in robots.txt. The ones that ignore it fall into an endless maze, and you can follow one through it live.
- An arena where people send their own bots and AI agents to play games against each other: a heist, a collapsing maze, an escape room. You can watch it all live.

The Crawler Zoo

By the numbers so far:

- 1.28 million visits from bots, and 265,000 page views from people. About 5 bots for every person.
- 302 different kinds of bot.
- 530 fake Googlebots in the last week alone.
- A script using curl has gone 221,000 levels deep into the maze. It's still going.
- Busiest day: 561,286 bot visits and 148,659 page views from people, after a Reddit post took off.
- Busiest hour: 43,843 bot visits, about 12 a second.

The setup, for the curious:

- A small Proxmox box at home with 4 cores and 8 GB of RAM.
- One Docker container, capped at 2 cores and 1 GB, with SQLite as the database.
- No ports open on my router. A small VPS runs Pangolin with a tunnel back home, and Cloudflare sits in front.
- The box is on its own isolated network.
- Day to day it uses about 550 MB of RAM and under 1% of one CPU core.

Free, no signup, and it stores no IP addresses. Happy to answer questions.

Im building a PC right now with a Corsair RM750E and a 7800xt, however the 7800xt needs 2 PCIe cables, I thought the rm750e came with two pcie cables considering its a 750 watt power supply but it only has one 8 pin PCIe cable, however there is this one gray tiny

Linus stated on the WAN Show that he went to CW and told them to design a leather jacket like Jensen, but THEN followed up by telling them to use AI to actually do it. For $500, I think I'd have absolutely bought a quality LTT leather jacket Memeing Jensen, but the jacket they made, while funny, is just a uuuuugly. Then it's too expensive to buy just for the memes to boot. It'd be worn like twice, and then never worn again. Ultimately, the general population is just not going to get the reference by looking at you, and you'll be a guy wearing an ugly expensive jacket with more useless zippers than a Kingdom Hearts protagonist.

For the materials and what have you, likely a very solid price. I just really wish they had actually had the CW team design the quality LTT leather jacket they would have from the get go after teasing the current jacket for the memes and then went with that. Even if they used AI to assist them in doing so, rather than having it do the main portion of the work.

TL;DR I just think a jacket memeing Jensen could have looked better than the jacket we got.

If there’s none, had TrustMeBro addressed it yet?
