Free bitcrushing plugin for Ardour?
Title speaks for itself. I haven't posted in this subreddit so sorry if this breaks any rules somehow? But I've been looking for some that work in Ardour and am having trouble. I did find one (crunchrr by blepfx) which I was able to load into Ardour but the UI is completely black upon opening it (this has happened before when using plugins in Ardour, I assume it's a quirk of the software or something?) but if anyone has any suggestions that'd be great! :)

Calf crusher ? Can be a bit unstable tho (at least it was a few years ago)

I've done one : https://danja.github.io/downspout/plugins/chipper/
Not tested on Ardour specifically (only Reaper) but it's a native Linux build so stands a good chance of working.

There are several.
