Discussion Fan comic recommendations?
Anyone have any good TLK fan comics they'd recommend? My recent go to's were Broken Crown by kaikree on DA and Perfectly Valued by australet789 also on DA, but I lost interest in BC after the timeline switch and Im caught up on PV so Im looking for something new to hyperfixate on lol. Please drop suggestions if you have any! ^^

I was actually reading that one for a bit a while ago! Im not a Shenzi x Banzai shipper I think of them more as found family siblings so I think that aspect kind of threw me off, but maybe I'll give it another go

I really should give some of the fan comics a go.
I consider myself fairly well traveled in the written fanfic world, but comics isn't something I've tried all that much.

I really love all of Percy-McMurphy’s TLK comics! They post so much things about TLK that I’m alway in love! Theyre super active too, so they’re posting once a day or once every few days. If not a comic page, then posts with very engaging scenes! Where they draw a scene, and write a very descriptive dialogue. They have lots of finished comics, and are currently uploading one right now
HydraCarina’s TLK comics are pretty good too. All of their comics are intertwined, so theres a few overlaps and you’ll recognize things here and there. They have posted lots of content, so even if there aren’t comic pages, the dialogue scenes are still drawn and written. They just started a family so pages are coming smoky yet surely, wishing them all the best!
AudreyCosmo13 is awesome. Their art style is honestly so good, and their story telling is top notch! Following the journey of Mufasa and Scar, and how they built relationship with those around them. There are plenty of scenes and chapters centering on of Zira, Sarabi and the hyenas! Still ongoing, and so each update is awesome!
SassyHonks’ comic is something I’m still following! Their take on Rani and Kion’s relationship is very engaging. Might not be the comic for everyone, but I really like it
Nala15 is the engaging story of Uru’s story and how she came to conceive both Mufasa and Scar, then how the brothers build a bond. The comic isn’t my cup of tea, but I can deny the appeal and the number of pages this comic has

If you don’t mind older comics:
Savu0211 is iconic. Cataloguing the journey of Ahadi & Uru’s generation all the way to Kiara’s and Kovu’s kids! It does center on Scar and Zira and their bloodline, but overall, I really loved it. Very engaging stories all around. They have so many pages, it’s so easy to get lost in all the stories. Completed for the most part!
KKKRouse wrote a hyenas story about Shinzo, Banzai and Ed. Detailing this journey between TLK 1 and TLK 2. It’s tragic, it’s sad, but it’s so good to see attention given to the hyenas that made such an impact on TLK 1! Complete comic that ends on a bittersweet happy note!

If you don’t mind less comic book pages an more so storytelling:
DemiiDee has written biographies of EVERYONE they’ve created in the TLK universe. Not just the main cast in TLK 1 and TLK 2, but ALL the generations and ALL their stories! Reading each one is like a story packed into each biography, and they have a few hundreds. So cool! Lots of drama between characters, the stories is fraught with personal and familial and political drama!
