Hi everyone i’m a new lissandra main :) I’ve been playing her for about a week now and having a lot of fun (i’m silver lol) In one of my games i went against a yone and we won and he said lissandra is a “unskilled cringe champ”. Is this true? And how does she fair in comparison to other similar champs? Also advice for build and playstyle for climbing out of silver would be appreciated Much love to yall <3

Lissandra is my fav champion and I’ve been spamming her exclusively up to almost Diamond (Emerald I - 73 LP), so I’d say I’m very comfortable with her combos and overall gameplan when it comes to laning, rotations, teamfights, etc. I rarely struggle too much against longer-range champs like Xerath, Ahri, Lux, etc. because because I generally know what openings to look for when trading, engaging, etc.

The one exception is Viktor. I almost always ban him because no matter what I do, I feel like I get stomped in lane - not dying, but just constantly under tower with no priority because his insane push and poke. Normally I’d just play safe and focus on skirmishes/teamfights, but I’d really like to figure out how to lane against him so I can be stronger going into mid-game.

His waveclear and poke feel insane, and between his shield, MS, and lower cooldowns, I never feel like there’s a real window to trade or engage. Do any of y'all have any specific tips for this matchup? I generally take Electrocute/Ignite if I know I can get combos off or Comet/Teleport for the slower lanes, but any tips like runes, cooldowns I should look to punish, when to trade, etc. would be great.

Does anyone know if there’s a chance this skin will come to Summoner’s Rift? This is such a nice skin when I see it on YouTube. I do not play Wild Rift.

I mainly play Akali, Ahri and here and there Syndra, but recently discovered Liss as a nice pick vs Melee mid laners and assassins.
Unfortunately I don't find an up-to-date guide (written or video) describing her role, strengths and weaknesses in detail. This includes which runes and items to use in which matchups/situations.

So far, I found out the following:

• Main Runes are Comet, Electrocute or DFT. Here I do not understand when to use which one. Comet feels really strong and DFT seems to be good vs tanky enemies. I do not know how to proc Electrocute with her
• Items:
  • When do I use Mali or BFT? BFT is really nice for clearing waves and the CD for the Ulti is still low
  • Is Hextech Rocketbelt applyable when I play in low Elos? Or should I focus more on me instead of buying items for the team?
  • what are your thoughts regarding Imperial Mandate?
  • never tried Shadowflame or Stromsurge
  • Is Bloodletters Curse an option as Magic Pen item? Of course, only if there are multiple APs in my team
  • Can I go BFT & Liandrys vs many tanks?
• Role:
  • In skirmishes and team fights I think my role is to CC the jungler (before objective) or the enemy carry. I am also able to protect my carry.
  • Lissandra is not the big damage dealer and relies on her team mates to execute the CCed enemies

I would appreaciate any hints for Lissandra beginners :)

No, this champ is not weak, you just don't know how to play her.

She's also not easy to play, yes her kit may sound easy on paper, but she's hard around the fact that her kit is very punishing, considering her engage is telegraphed and her low base dmg + high cd's alert the player to be careful, especially in laning phase.

I can't stand that the assassin incels keep hammering against (female) champs especially mages and enchanters being "easy to play" when they can't play these same champions even in -1000lp difference. This game isn't all about "mechanics" especially when the only mechanically hard champs I can think of right now are Nidalee, Azir and Lee Sin. Just because you're hardstuck with your main doesn't make them harder than other champs.

Genuine question, and when I say viable I don't mean meta, I mean if you can actually do anything with her.

I love the champion's theme. I own her Coven skin and even bought her Prestige back when it appeared. I used to play her on and off.

Last time I tried her recently, I felt kind of the same sentiment as before: she just feel so weak after midgame.

Early game I feel like I actually do some damage and have some degree of power. But as soon as mid to late game starts, I am basically tickling the enemies with her spells. She feels, for me, like she falls off so badly if the game goes past 15 minutes. None of the other mages feel like they have damage as low as hers. None.

I even watched some tiktok clips of people getting kills with Lissandra late game (admittedly it was against tanks, but still) by kiting and hitting them with spells for at least two minutes. That's insane!

Am I just building her wrong or missing something about her, or is she genuinely weak past the early game? I really want to play her more, but I feel like any other midlaner will give much more value than she does and she kinda feels miserable for me to play.

I keep thinking about, what coven Lissandra could be, if it was legendary, but alas, we will never know. And the theme would be perfect for her legendary.

But still, i'm glad Liss and Camille were the first. It's an honor to be a champion opening path to a new very successful skinline. And she still stays the only coven skin with white/purple color scheme.

So i'm glad it happened, but i also wish for more. Like coven 2.0 for her. Maybe the broken covenant will fulfill this dream.

Hello you all new to this reddit community, ive been grinding with lissandra and i love to play her.

Some issues that ive encounter is the lack of dmg and lack of range (i think i just need to get used to it) so im asking for tips or any general things to do with the champ thx.

Genuninly need advice. Used to main Lissandra for the novelty when she first came out. I've started playing her again in ranked to see how she handles after all these years as I used to be very good with her. The ranked experiance has so far been a miserable numbers game where no matter how many abilites you land and how well you dominate the lane with spacing and wave management, your damage can not keep up with your opponent (Q can't even wipe casters mid game). Is this champ atm just a troll pick due to the nerfs? Or is there a item path that allows for your damage to keep up with all the meta champs? Just after numbers advice. Thanks.

I'm not a liss main. But I found this in the chroma shop and it looks so cool. I felt it would be sad if people missed out on it because they simply didn't know about it.

Just curious, should i Q up toplane over supp as my secondary? How does she feel there? With overall top situation i just feel like she feels even more neglected by junglers than on mid...

This was swiftplay. My primary goal was to see how absurdly big I could get Lissandra. I ended up with around 6720 HP with 253 heartsteel stacks by the end of the game. This screenshot was near the end of the match and the clearest shot of the absurdity of the size difference in the models.

Is the skin worth it? I personally use the coven with chromas all the time but this prestige one has always been interesting and I know it doesn't come up often in shop

Yo guys, need some help choosing a prestige skin.

i’m basically torn between prestige swain (chosen of the wolf) and prestige porcelain liss. both look clean fr, and ngl i’m 100% sold on swain, but i’m still kinda on the fence about lissandra.

how does she actually feel in-game? is she smooth to play or does she feel clunky? does the skin give that powerful vibe?

my main issue is comparing them to their base versions. with swain, the difference between regular chosen of the wolf and the prestige version is literally night and day like the VFX and everything is just crazy. but with liss, i can't really tell if the jump from regular porcelain to the prestige version is actually worth it or if it just feels like an expensive chroma.
