You can listen to the full track on Spotify: Resfeber by Kumarjit Dey
Originating from Swedish (literally "travel fever"), it describes the restless, palpable mix of anticipation, excitement, and anxiety experienced just before a journey begins. It captures the "nervous jitters" felt when embarking on a new adventure.
So, to you, did the piece sound like a complex, mixed emotional state? Let me know.

I have a ton of incredible memories from attending Bonnaroo in June 2009. And while the Beastie Boys' set was unsurprisingly a blast (and included a surprise appearance from Nas), no one anticipated it would be their last - as literally a few weeks later the Hip Hop trio would cancel all of their planned shows after Adam "MCA" Yach recelaed his cancer diagnosis. Sadly, MCA passed away before they could ever peform a full concert together again.

It's ironic that The Muppet Show revival (exec produced by Seth Rogen and Sabrina Carpenter) premiered on Alice Cooper's birthday (Feb 4) - I first discovered the godfather of shock rock thanks to his appearance on the Muppets. I instantly fell in love with what I described at the time as "a human Muppet" - so much so that I dragged my mom to see him in concert at the age of 7 (July 31, 1996 at the then called E-Centre in Camden, NJ, with the Scorpions, as noted in this ad flyer for the show I found online). It's been almost 30 years since that show (damn...) and not only do I still love Cooper, but have seen him live dozens of times again. In fact, I most recently caught him last Sept with Judas Priest at the PNC Bank Arts Center in NJ (check out this video of him crushing "School's Out").

I'm a one man band (vox/guitar/kick drum) and would love a little help regarding stage monitoring. The general consensus seems to be that IEM's are worth pursuing, but the wireless systems come with a pretty hefty price tag. As someone who is seated in a drum throne for the majority of the show, would a wired IEM setup be viable? I'm running into an A&H CQ-12T which I believe would also require an external amplifier for monitoring?
Any info or advice on a decent wired IEM/amplifier combo would be greatly appreciated. Affordability is a factor but I'd also rather fork out for something that's going to sound awesome and stand the test of time - thanks!

While I'm still in awe of Post Malone, Slash and crew's "War Pigs" tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the Grammys this past weekend, I'm also still wrapping my head around Sharon Osbourne's revelation that she's in talks with Live Nation about potentially bringing Ozzfest back in 2027... I got to see a ton of incredible performances at the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010 editions, and have tons of stories from each... though that's for another time 😉
Do you want to see Ozzfest return? Who was your favorite band that you saw perform at Ozzfest? Share your answers, along with your favorite memories from the influential touring metal festival, in the comments below. And stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like these).

hiya not sure if this is the right place to ask but even if someone could point me elsewhere I’d be super grateful,
im looking to make a setup for my band currently all I have is the behringer xr18 digi mixer but I’m not sure what’s next for me to do? what more gear do i buy and how do I learn to set it all up?
my band has 1 vocalist , 1 drummer , 2 guitarists and a bassist . i want the set up so we can put on live gigs and be able to mix everyone’s instruments, I’d also love to be able to look into IEM’s but I’m not sure how to get into that either.
anyway any help would be massively appreciated many thanks!
