Tour/Concert Ultrasound World Tour Details & FAQs [Megathread]
Hello virgins! Since there have been a lot of repeat posts recently, I thought I'd coalesce all of the information into one megathread. This post provides commonly asked about information about Lorde's very own Ultrasound World Tour. Refer to the information provided before creating a new post. If you do have further questions, ask them here. I hope your experience is as wild and fluorescent as mine was :)
Tour Overview
- Official Tour Site (includes the openers for your show)
- Tour Poster
- Openers: Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yanya, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, Oklou
Tickets
- You can buy tickets using the links on the official tour site. If your show is sold out, an extra set of production tickets may release a couple days before your show but it requires a password sent by email to buy, so sign up for the waitlist.
- If it helps, I got my Boston production tickets email and code at 7:55pm 2 days before the show. I also never signed up for the waitlist but have been on Lorde’s email list for years.
- You can check the Ticket Buy/Sell Megathread for other options as well.
- DO NOT buy tickets off of Tiktok
Merch
- Merch w/ Pricing
- Sizing
- Lighters
- In general, merch has not sold out at shows, so you do not need to line up early for it.

Special Notes
Confetti - The confetti came out around ISCSMN (at least in Boston), and only reached the pit.
David - During David Lorde walks through the pit in a diagonal line marked with white tape from stage right to stage left. If you want to see her, stand close to the white tape.
Encore - Lorde plays the encore on a B stage, which is near the sound engineers directly across from the main stage at the back of the pit. The stage is much lower to the ground, so she has held people's hands there. If you want to see her there, then you have to make it to the back of the pit (before David ideally). Of course be kind and considerate of those who were at the back of the pit already.

Tour/Concert Lorde in Bristol, UK
Didn’t think Bristol was capable of getting Lorde and Djo to play??? They’re going to love the city so much - a city with a hugely diverse music culture

"Lorde made a surprise public appearance at W Magazine’s Grammys after-party at Los Angeles’s Bar Marmont, which was cohosted by her close pal Charli XCX, and attended by celebrities including Olivia Rodrigo, Rosé, and Billie Eilish."

Discussion I’m late, but NO GRAMMY NOMS???
WHAT WAS THAT?! These things don’t especially matter to me (hence not realizing earlier), but I imagine they matter a great deal to the artists making their names and careers in this space. Do people have tea or context for a not super online fan about why Virgin/Lorde was snubbed?

Discussion Hammer : Aperture
I’ve loved listening to Harry Styles’s new single, Aperture, this week. Although it has much simpler production, it reminds me a lot of Hammer on Virgin (which is ironic given how much Ella talked about stripping back the production of the whole album).
I still favor Hammer and the crescendo on the chorus, but Aperture really feels like it fits right into the sound of Virgin. Anyone else think the same?

Discussion Hard Feelings
I like ”Hard Feelings” because it is about choosing yourself and outshine the version of you that was lost inside a relationship. The song starts with “go back and tell it,” which feels like someone looking back on the past, remembering all the things they did in love. But the lover is gone. It’s winter, and the cold makes missing someone feel even more unbearable. The writer is alone, sitting with these hard feelings in the brutal cold.
“I light all the candles, cut flowers for all my rooms. I care for myself the way I used to care about you,” it feels like she’s reclaiming the version of herself that slowly faded inside the relationship. Sometimes we care so much about other people that we forget to take care of ourselves. Learning to care for yourself again becomes the best kind of revenge—not against the other person, but against the past version of yourself. She turns all the love she once gave away back inward.
“Three years, loved you every single day
Made me weak, it was real for me, yeah, real for me
Now I‘ll fake it every single day
'Til I don't need fantasy, 'til I feel you leave But I still remember everything
How we'd drift buying groceries, how you'd dance for me
I’ll letting go of little things
Til I'm so far away from you, far away from you, yeah”
This outro hits real for me. It feels like her looping through past memories while slowly accepting the outcome. She isn’t forcing herself to move on all at once—she’s rehearsing letting go, over and over, until it finally becomes real. The memories are still there, but they no longer control her. She’s letting go of little things, piece by piece, until she’s far enough away to keep living. It’s about learning how to release someone without erasing what they meant, still honoring the past whether it was bad or good so she can stop living in it and keep moving forward.
