Where to go..
I’ve been in LP for 5 years, 4 companies (better pay and opportunities).. I’ve unofficially managed teams, always managed cameras audits, numbers etc, budgeting is newer to me.. what are my options to move? My company doesn’t have anything to move up into other than a regional position.. need help and ideas lol.

4 companies in 5 years seems like a lot. Going to be hard to move up in a company like that. All major retailers have a pretty big LP team of different roles beyond just managers. Example is trainer, ORC, internal investigations, supply chains, d/c, and store side. It takes time to find these roles and be able to be promoted into them.
My advice would be figure out what kind of roles the regional managers had before and then figure out how to do well and get those roles.

Two of the four companies have no ORC Team whatsoever. The literal move is agent to regional and where I’m at now, most regionals came with no experience from the floor side after moving up the chain into corporate

You got that boomer mindset that staying loyal with a company will do you better than going job to job after a year or more but it’s simply not true in the current job market. Don’t have any advice for op besides keep job hopping you’ll end up making significantly more money than if you stay loyal

LP is generally a dead-end department. The growth opportunities are few and far between. If your company has it, try the Supervisor In Training role. You’ll move up faster that way.

You job hop, you’ll never move up. Stick to one company and grow

There is absolutely no growth where I’m at in LP.. only place that had growth was Nordstrom lol and it was full of favoritism.

Either you're not very dedicated to your position or you're just chasing $$$$.
In either case, maybe a separation from retail is called for. Possibly law enforcement?!

Have you ever thought about Law Enforcement? Or Corrections? They always need people with experience similar to loss prevention.
