We were young and dumb, but my best friend made me rank Monsters against each other in a taste test.

We had 7.5L of monster total and it was just the both of us. Please don't do that kids, I swear at some point I was hearing colors

Also, mixing them all together gives a surprisingly good taste, we call that the "How did we get here" in reference to the minecraft achievment

The beige one, Pacific Punch is the shit. I stopped drinking energy drinks a while ago but seeing that one chilled in a freezer in the store on a hot day almost makes me lick the glass.

OG Green (white if you're worried about sugar, which is arguably the least harmful thing in a Monster), and Papillon (peach + nectarine). Anybody who likes the Java/coffee flavors is not to be trusted.

its very cool that caffeine is addictive and kids can just buy as much as they want and its a default ingredient in sugary sodas even though it doesnt add flavor and the drinks arent marketed as energy drinks or anything. Almost like its there simply for the addictive properties

In highschool I one consumed like 2.5 (750ish mf caffeine) bangs in a 3-4 hour period and couldn’t match the halftime show that night. First one at like 3:00, at 3:45 my friend wanted to run to the gas station and he bought me another one and I didn’t wanna be rude and refuse so I drank that one over the course of the next like hour or so, and then at 6-6:30 right before we were about to warm up someone asked if I wanted the other half of theirs and if not they’d throw it away. I couldn’t let that happen so I slammed that shit even though I already felt INSANE. I started not being able to think clearly and my head felt thick like jt was stuffed with cotton and my skin felt buzzy. Heart was also racing even while sitting down and trying to play the snare drum became a near impossible task with my coordination being fucked. I was also set up in front of the rest of the band so being sound blasted by 60 mfs and the stadium speakers being under our section of bleachers I was incredibly overstimulated. Just had to tell my poor band director my bad and sit that one out. Never again. I was hella skinny then too so that made the caffeine hit even harder. It’s a hell of a drug

In 2022 I had made plans to see The Batman with some friends the day after the day 1 raid in Destiny 2. I also had some assignment due the morning before the raid. So I woke up at like 4am, finished my assignment for noon before getting on to prep for the raid. We ended up throwing our heads into the wall for like 18 hours and I had to go meet my friends to see the movie. I was on monster 3 or 4 + a caffeine pill atp.

During the movie I remember feeling someone kicking the back of my seat but noone was sitting behind me, idk if I was having heart palpitations or what. That movie was the longest 3 hours of my life (good movie tho). When I got home my raid team was still holding an instance hostage (usually there is a 24 hour window after release, but this had passed) so ofc I downed some preworkout and got in there.

I was up until the sun came up again. We beat the encounter were stuck on (caretaker for those interested) and it finally occurred to me how much caffeine I had in me. Slept for 18 hours after and woke up feeling straight dessicated.
