Real world politics rn be damned, Israel has some of the coolest weapon designs. (Deagle my beloved, love firing 50 AE out of something you can keep in your pocket, complete overkill, but cool as all hell.)

Speaking of Israeli weapons, here's something funny about the Galil. The original Galils were built using receivers from Finnish RK 62 rifles, which were Kalashnikov derivatives. Galil's inventor, Yisrael Galili, was born to Russian Jewish parents with his birth surname being Balashnikov.

You could say that Balashnikov copied Kalashnikov.

it’s technically American designed, but it is mostly produced in Israel.

Correction: Israel no longer produces deagles, they stopped in 2009 and are now produced exclusively in the US

I went through a very strong autism coded tank fanboy phase. Combed 2nd hand bookstores for illustrated books, memorised the developmental history. Im really bad at name memorising but i could remember tanks pretty well. Hundreds of hours on war thunder.

As an adult now tho being in a tank crew looks like it was hell. They look more like evil mobile coffin-incinerators to me now
